48000 Mwh To Mah

Hi all,Over the past few weeks, I've noticed that my SB2 15' loses about 5-10% of battery charge overnight when turned off (shut down, not put in sleep mode) and not plugged in.This is new behavior that never happened before, so I ran a battery report. I'm seeing that since the end of November, my battery is almost 19% below the designed capacity. Here is what I see:Battery 1 - Design Capacity: 23,200Battery 1 - Full Charge Capacity: 20,100Battery 2 - Design Capacity: 62,200Battery 2 - Full Charge Capacity: 48,000It looks like there was a small decline that happened in September, but then things really fell off the deep end the past few days. Here are screenshots of my battery report:Does anyone have any ideas, or have you experienced anything similar?

Aug 17, 2013 - mAh (or mAh) is not how many milliamperes a battery can deliver in an hour. That would be mA/h. Current, measured in amperes, is already a. For example, if you have 1500 mWh and a voltage of 5V, the number of mAh is 1500Wh / 5V = 300mAh. Convert mAh to mWh Insert milliamp hours (mAh) and voltage (V) and click on Calculate to obtain milliwatt-hours (mWh).

Might this be a warranty issue? There is an MS store about 20 minutes from me - but it's in a giant mall that I expect to be packed given the holidays. What experience can I expect when I go to the MS store with my Surface Book 2? Should I call them in advance to set up an appointment or anything? Thanks!.

Are you running 1809 by any chance? I've experienced the same behaviour, albeit not close to this bad. I did notice a dip in mAh in October, dipping around 7% in capacity in two months, compared to 5% or so over the previous 12 months.I have no idea if it's a software issue, i.e the system that's measuring wrong, or if it's a hardware issue. Your case is bad though, and let's hope it's not hardware.EDIT: Just checked mine, and my capacity has gone UP(?!), which would indicate that it was indeed a software glitch the last time. My capacity, with charge cycles in mind, is very good, and the degradation of the battery has been pretty low in the last 14 months of usage.I would book an appointment if I were you. So have you guys found a solution to the battery issue?I bought a new Surface Book 2 15' 256GB GTX 1060, and out of the box batteries charge was close to 0% (usually these devices are sold charged at least at 40-60%) and battery wear at 6% on one battery and 3 on the second. Now, after two weeks, the situation is still pretty similar, 2-3% wear level on battery 1, and 6% battery 2. Quite weird and not normal.

I think that some Surfaces come out with defective batteries, since as I see I am not the only one with similar issues. It is even more weird that as soon as I detach from AC battery wear level goes to 0 or is reduced by 3-4 points. But if I shut down the laptop and wait for a few hours, when I turn it on again, wear level is back to high values.Since I have 35 days to bring it back and get refunded, I think I have to do that. Eventually asking for a new device.
